Postnatal Home Visit for Helpers

Support and teaching for helpers at home. Education on how to care for a new-born baby. Ranging from bathing to sterilizing bottles, safe sleeping, feeding etc.

Our midwives are also registered lactation consultants (IBCLC) and can give advice and guidance on aspects of baby care, breastfeeding and do physical checks on baby (jaundice, hydration, weight etc). The visit will include advice, support, guidance on parenting techniques, and routines, postnatal recovery and exercises, returning work, "baby blues", postnatal depression and anxiety.

Home visit packages (x4) are offered at 5% discount (as displayed in prices above). 

This package includes 4 x 1-hour sessions. The packages are to be used within the first 6 months from the first visit. Visits are usually conducted on weekdays only (Monday to Friday) but your care will be carefully planned with this in mind. Your midwife will discuss timing of subsequent visits with you as you go along and this will be planned around your needs. In the event of your midwife being unavailable, our other midwife will help cover if needed. 

If a package of home visits are purchased and not all used, the previous home visits will be charged retrospectively at full price.

Please understand our packages are non-transferable and non-refundable, except of course in the sad case of loss or serious medical issues. Any credit remaining must be used for midwife consult services only and packages will expire six month after your baby's birth.

For New Territories, outlying islands, Shek O, Big Wave Bay and other areas, please refer to the below table to find your travel charge per visit and choose the appropriate option above.

*For Discovery Bay/Tung Chung - no extra travel charge apply as long as a visit at the start or end of the day (if needed).
