FAA Level 3 First Aid course designed for those who needs training in up-to date CPR techniques and essential life-savings skills relevant to workplace incidents. This course covers life-threatening conditions including CPR, bleeding control and choking. It ensures staff members are training to respond effectively to medical emergencies.
Sessions
In a one-off 6 hours session, we will cover essential skills to deal with a range of workplace first aid situations:
- Responsibilities and reporting
- Resuscitation and AED awareness
- Burns
- Assessment of the situation
- Anatomy
- Choking
- Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
- Minor injuries
- Epilepsy
- Basic hygiene in First Aid
- Bleeding control
- Shock
Certification and Accreditation
Participants who complete this program will receive an e-certificate with a 3-year validity, accredited as an FAA Award in Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 RQF, certified through NUCO Training and First Aid Awards Ltd.
The qualification fulfils the requirements for first aid training detailed in the UK Department for Education’s Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage. Learners who achieve this qualification will meet Ofsted requirements.
Other information
Class Size: 4-6 people
It will occur concurrently with Paediatric Emergency First Aid course on the same day.
Class must be booked in advance as this is not a drop-in session and places must be reserved.
